Welcome back to Leawood. We are thrilled to be a part of your children’s lives. So far we have been very busy in a short time. This is where you will see the class newsletter, as well as occasional pictures of your hard at work students. Ok, sometimes they will be hard at “play” too.
This year is one of gradual release of responsibilities to your students. Our goal is to have them ready for middle school by May. Everyone should be writing in their assignment books every afternoon, and referring to them at night when they sit down to do homework. Yes, they do have homework EVERY night.
We look forward to seeing everyone at the back to school/outdoor lab meeting Thursday, Sept 1 at 6:30 in Mrs. Story’s room. If you have any questions, please email us, and we will get back to you.
